With Audacity you can remove vocal(s) from wav file. First thing to do is download the software from here http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/
Select your operating system to download the latest version of the free Audacity sound editor.
After Audacity downloaded, install and run the application.
Then Go to File -> Open to open a wav file you want to remove vocals from.
Go to Effect -> Vocal Remover.
There are three choices to select,you can choose "Simple" to remove entire spectrum, or choose "Remove frequency band" to remove vocals between the band you set, or choose "Retain frequency band" to remove vocals beyond the band you set.
Click OK, you will finish removing vocals from your wav songs.
